Beaching around
Just wanted to share some photos of my daughter Bianca and her cousin Angel in two separate beaches in Davao City. They’re no white sand but these resorts are clean and exceptionally cheap! (Less than P50 entrance fee)
Who says you can’t have much fun with cheap thrills?
In these beach resorts in Dumoy Toril, your kids can play all day after swimming. Their playground at Mergrande Beach is huge and well-kempt, grown-ups can’t help but play too!
When you’re in Davao, finding a nice yet cheap beach resort is never too hard. They are sprawling in Dumoy, Toril, Matina and Samal Island. The cheap yet clean ones are in Dumoy, Toril and some in Matina but if you want more adventure, go cross the Island City of Samal and feast your eyes on the lineup of resorts.
Ready to beach around?
Just chilling out
It’s been a busy day! Errands here and there, house cleaning and all that stuff. I’m proud to say that I’ve accomplished quite a lot today. Now, it’s my time to chill out, oh yeah!
No, I don’t have plans of going out to bars or anything like that. My idea of chilling out is actually blogging. Crazy? Not exactly.
So here I am, blog-hopping trying to find sites that’ll catch my fancy - something light and interesting. Then, I chanced upon Crystal Raen’s Blog Things
Initially I was only attracted to its homepage, the mix of colors, the cozy feel of it. It’s so dainty. But when I started reading the posts, I liked it even more. The posts are about the author’s experiences and anything interesting she could think about. She’s also coming up with another blog committed to fashion so there’s a lot to look forward to.
It’s a collection of random thoughts, something that Femmepower also is. And I could feel the author’s passion for writing. Very much like my addiction to blogging, LOL!
Getting techie
I’m not a techie person. I don’t have any educational background in web developing, computer programming, PC set up or anything techie at all. But since I got sort of addicted to blogging, I invested a lot of time and energy trying to learn the dynamics of web developing and the jargons that come with it - URL, widgets, RSS, HTML, permalink, etc that I had zero knowledge about when I started blogging.
Starting with the purchase of my personal computer, it took me a lot of queries to know what I should buy. I was naive about processors, memory, Operating System and all that. All I knew was that I wanted a fast computer with a sleek design and nothing else. I was especially keen on the LCD monitor.
I ended up with a good package somehow but since I didn’t take much attention to the accessories, I ended up with the not-so-good-ones. That’s to say that my mouse fails to function sometimes and my brand new speakers are now totally mute (And that’s just after two months of usage). Also my web cam isn’t as clear as my friends’ though it looks pretty good in white.
If you’re also a struggling, self-educating techie wannabe like me, you could use a little help from existing info sites in the web. I found one that has useful, easy-to-understand tips on computer technology. You’ll also learn some computer lingos and other stuff about computer application, blogging and the likes.
It’s pretty informative.
Check it out yourself.
