Better Bathrooms: Because your bathroom says a lot about you
You’ve probably heard it a gazillion times over that a bathroom says a lot about your personality, hygiene, and financial status, among others. Be it squeaky clean or otherwise, well-adorned with bathroom furniture and ornaments or is simply stripped down to the bare necessities in it, you show a piece of yourself through your bathroom. Whatever you handpick for your bathroom says a lot about you. Mine is simple and small yet the pale pink tiles are sparkling clean and the only luxuries you’ll see are body baths of different shapes and sizes. Others would have plants, or candles, or colorful tiles in their bathrooms while others go for modern bathroom accessories without so much decors.
Whatever your personal preferences are, you can find awesome choices of bathroom suites at BetterBathrooms.com by clicking on the link above. They have a Bathroom and Tiles Sale going on until Sept. 21st and a Bathroom Suites Stock Clearance wherein you get up to 55% discount. So hurry before promos and stocks run out!
You can easily find the items you’re looking for by checking the product categories on the left sidebar of their website as well as the sale items on the right. I also noticed the positive comments from various customers, telling of excellent quality and service. BetterBathrooms.com boasts of speedy delivery because majority of products are in stock and their website is always updated. You can even get your orders the next day for all their stocked items. Their website is so user-friendly, it’ll guide you how to order, calculate the delivery cost for you and let you track your order too.
If only finances were not a factor, I would have chosen a house with a sprawling bathroom that has a floor-to-ceiling mirror and linen cabinet, and a complete set of bathroom suites including a nice jacuzzi bath. I guess it means that I can be awfully luxurious. Lol! Well, what does your bathroom say about you?
Music Monday: Get Here by Oleta Adams
I’m a sucker for good music and today, I spent six hours scouring for and listening to old favorites in You Tube. I realized there are truckloads of records that I missed from the good old days so I decided to allot Mondays for the songs that I love, which I believe are also familiar to you (or they could be your favorites too).
Allow me to introduce Music Monday with this song from Oleta Adams, Get Here. Enjoy the video and happy Music Monday, everyone!
Feel free to grab the badge and give me some linky love if you wanna do Music Mondays. Manic Mondays no more!
You can reach me by railway, you can reach me by trailway
You can reach me on an airplane, you can reach me with your mind
You can reach me by caravan, cross the desert like an Arab man
I don’t care how you get here, just - get here if you can
You can reach me by sail boat, climb a tree and swing rope to rope
Take a sled and slide down the slope, into these arms of mine
You can jump on a speedy colt, cross the border in a blaze of hope
I don’t care how you get here, just - get here if you can
There are hills and mountains between us
Always something to get over
If I had my way, surely you would be closer
I need you closer
(interlude, then repeat bridge)
You can windsurf into my life, take me up on a carpet ride
You can make it in a big balloon, but you better make it soon
You can reach me by caravan, cross the desert like an Arab man
I don’t care how you get here, just - get here if you can
I don’t care how you get here, just — get here if - you can.
Twilight spoof: Vampires Suck
If you’re a huge fan of the Twilight saga, then I guess you’re gonna enjoy its spoof, Vampires Suck, which will be shown in theaters starting August 18th. Just watching the official trailer gave me the laughs. At least in this flick, I won’t despise Bella for being so clumsy, lol!
Winning a contest can be a fun stress buster
Spa Essentials ran a contest via Facebook last month which I luckily won by simply posting what my favorite spa treatment is and why. Spa Essentials is a brand name trusted for using 100% pure and natural essential oils in their products. They have a wide array of massage oils and linen sprays that promise to relieve stress, energize, and even promote better sleep (which I desperately need!). I can’t wait to try their products once they reach my doorstep. As a huge fan of stress busters (be it about spa products, relaxation techniques, or what-have-yous) I intend to make an honest review on some Spa Essentials massage oils and linen sprays once I’ve tried them myself. But I can say that after winning the contest, all the stress I felt have magically disappeared, lol!
Spa Essentials is exclusively found in all SM and Watsons stores nationwide.
21 Steps on How To Start Your Own Business
After the successful releases of the books GoNegosyo 50 Inspiring Entrepreneurial Stories, GoNegosyo 50 Inspiring Stories of Entrepreneurs (Celebrity Edition), and GoNegosyo 55 Inspiring Stories of Women Entrepreneurs, comes another promising book by Joey Concepcion, as written by Dean Pax Lapid and Ping Sotto — 21 Steps on How To Start Your Own Business.
Unlike the first three books that focused mainly on the success stories of Filipinos who battled the odds to become today’s big names in business like Henry Sy (SM), Socorro Ramos (National Bookstore), and Dr. Rolando Hortaleza (Splash Corp.), among others, this latest GoNegosyo book will guide you through in setting up your own business. Not only will it inspire you and rekindle that fire to pursue your long-forgotten dreams but it will also tell you how. It has activity worksheets for you to write and draw on so you won’t be limited to just reading, you’ll be asked to work on it! Plus the book is packed with snippets of success stories of Filipino entrepreneurs to add more to your inspiration.
If you have that fire in you to put up even a small business to start with, I recommend that you read this book. I got mine at National Bookstore.
When the going gets tough, unwind! Play bingo online
We’re all equipped to handle stress in our own different ways like scrapbooking, listening to music, power napping, shopping, watching videos on youtube, reading a good book, or just spending time alone or with our family. Whatever makes us happy depends on our mood and personal preferences. Mine is either sleeping, listening to my favorite songs, shopping or going online. I may get sucked out of energy to update my blogs sometimes, but I never get tired of looking for online games to perk me up whenever I’m all stressed out.
Lately I’ve been hooked to bingo, particularly this online bingo that incorporates the fun and excitement of basketball. I got curious seeing that the bingo players in this site are women.
Playing Bingo (offline) has always been the highlight of our annual family reunion back in Mindanao because of the interactive fun it brings, not to mention the huge prizes involved. I’m pleased to know that I can also play bingo online for free but then have the possibility of pocketing real money. How cool is that?
Though I’m not really after the monetary reward per se but more on the stress relief, I can’t help but get curious too. Well, I find it enticing to see fellow ladies brandishing their online bingo winnings and I like reading their awesome stories. But with the time I spend for myself, just going through the motions and enjoying online bingo like nobody cares, I’m good. After all, I just play for fun. And fun I truly get!
