Costplay at the mall
Have you ever witnessed a costplay event in your place? The term costplay is short for costume play, a performance art that’s becoming widely popular around the globe. Costplayers don accessories and costumes of a certain character (usually anime) and they act like they’re the real characters, sometimes even imitating their character’s voice.
Here are some snapshot we got last month in SM City Marikina. My daughter and hubby (and I, of course) had a blast hobnobbing with Darth Vader, Iron Man, and many others at the mall.

You were also there? We were there, too but Una was scared of the costumes so we didn’t get to have our photos taken. It’s weird that we go to the same places and never actually meet.

That looks so amazing. My kids would have love to been there. I haven’t seen one yet.

Cosplays are fantastic, and if it weren’t so expensive (and if I were an anime fan) I’d probably join! That’s why I love Halloween because I get to dress up. Last Halloween I was Madonna.
Plenty sights to see, right, and the most enjoyable part is guessing who the cosplayers are supposed to be.
