When was the last time you cleaned up your inbox?
Check your email. Do you have unnecessary messages that are as old as your email account? Hmm, maybe it’s time for a major cleanup.
A couple of days ago, I had a major crackdown on dust and trash around the house. In fact, I found some long-forgotten money in the process, teehee. Now, I have to pull out not the trash bin but the recycle bin of my computer as I clear away hundreds of 4-year-old emails. Yikes! But yes, my email is full of old messages dating back from 2005, can you believe that?
So far, I’ve deleted 500 of them but I still have 3,805 messages left in my inbox. That’s apart from the other messages in 23 different folders. Shocks, I have a lot of deleting and organizing to do.
Have you cleaned up and organized your email lately?

My emails are looking pretty scary. I have way to many as I have been lost in the blog world. Hope you have a great night.

Okay, this reminds me I still have almost 3,000 UNREAD messages on my inbox. Most of them are just notifications from Facebook and Blogger and newsletters from websites that I subscribed to (e.g. Apple, CNET, etc.). I will be deleting unnecessary and unimportant messages today.
Major cleanup!

Hi,
wow i had to delete over 2.000 e-mails in the last week because i reached the limit already several times in August.
When i look at my statistics it shows over 22.000 unread e-mails… I think i should sort them in some files so that i can delete them more easily instead of searching in the normal mailbox.
Have a great time deleting and sorting!

I have email that old and older. Started to clean it out but it takes so long. I tell myself that I might need them but the truth is that I’m just lazy!

I have four email accounts. Two of them I keep up with everyday, the other two, maybe every six months. Matter of fact I spent countless hours doing email at my hotmail account, because I hardly ever use that one.

That’s funny because I was just thinking of that today. I was thinking that I need to schedule some time to clean up my inbox. But I’m no where near where you are.

Yikes! Everytime I open my email, I always say “ok, it’s time to delete old messages and sort emails into folders”… still, I don’t! Just like you, I still have more than 4000 messages and I guess now, more than half of it needs to be deleted!
