Harry Potter hits theaters today
Me and my family have been waiting for this date. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince finally hits the local theaters starting today. Some reviews say that the movie diverts from the book a little but it still stands as one of the best Harry Potter movies to date.
I’m excited to see my favorite characters in this film - Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), and yes, Professor Severus Snape (Alan Rickman). If you’re a Harry potter fan, then I presume you have read most (if not all) of the Harry Potter books. A lot of fans don’t like Snape because he seems to make life in Hogwarts miserable for Harry and his friends who are non-Slitherins. But Snape is a very interesting character. You’ll love and hate him. I can say that actor Alan Rickman has been extremely successful in portraying Snape’s character - mysterious, skillful, master in occlumency (one whose mind you can’t read even with magic), and with a highly intriguing past. Is he good or bad? Read the last book to find out. He’s one of J.K. Rowling’s best characters that makes Harry Potter exciting.
But did you know that according to an online news report in celebuzz.com some of the cast in the movie haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books? They’re Alan Rickman (Snape), Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), and Harry’s nemesis, Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort).
Alright then, time to get my floo powder and pop out of here. See you in the theaters!

My hubby and I are heading to a matinee Friday, playing a little work hooky. The kids are too young so it’s just us grownups

Hiya! I was here!
blog roll visit time! ^_^
Dang… I can’t watch right now, have to go to work… *sob* Oh well, I’m so gonna watch this next week, hoping to still catch it in theaters with hubby.
Yeah, some portray-ers haven’t read the books they’re adapting, just like Twilight, most of the cast haven’t read the book as well…
