Next goal - overseas travel
I know it’s kind of lofty but there’s nothing wrong in setting a huge goal. My husband and I have been contemplating on traveling again. But this time, we are saving for an overseas trip. It’s not that easy to materialize especially at this time of slow economy but if there’s a will, there’s a way. We have our eyes on Hongkong, Singapore and Malaysia because they’re pretty close to us plus we have friends in these countries that are eager to accommodate us. Being near, the airfares are also quite affordable for us. Plus most airlines are coming up with low-fare promotions these days both on local and international flights.
But if things went so much better for us this year, we’d really want to fly to the US. I miss a couple of long-time friends who are now living in the States with fullfilling careers and some, with happy married lives. They’re scattered all over California, Virginia, NY, South Carolina, and Chicago. I haven’t seen them in years though we maintain correspondence through emails and social sites in the Web. We’d chat about having a reunion and they’re really serious about it. One proposed about meeting up at SC’s Myrtle Beach Resort if things push through. We could all stay at Myrtle Beach Hotels for a superb accommodation that’s close to everything - shopping, dining, and adventure.
If there’s one thing that unites us friends, it’s the beach. So I guess we’d all love to be at Myrtle Beach Resorts. My hubby and I are hopeful that we could reach our goal this year and bring our daughter along. We need a lot of financial planning on this big one and we’re not giving up.

We too are hoping to travel within the next year. It won’t be overseas, but there are so many beautiful places right here in the states. Good luck, I hope it works out well for you, and your family.

I would love to travel overseas but this year is not possible. So we are going to Niagara Falls which is a 7 hour car ride. Wish me luck with the kids in the car.
I know you’ll get your trip.

my parents live in south carolina and they’ve gone to myrtle beach. for many americans, it’s already fantastic. but it still pales in comparison to what we have here in the philippines. if i may suggest, while i know this is a revenue-earning post, aim to visit in the u.s. places that are unique to that part of the world eg museums, tourist-y spots, etc beaches there (i’ve visited a handful) are no match to philippine beaches. if you’re out to enjoy sun sea and sand, you’re better off staying here. i’m sure there’s still a lot to explore in the r.p. =] safe journeys always!
