Sometimes I get to wonder if we, moms can declare a “holiday.”  Like take a few days off from our regular routine - household chores and work responsibilities - and escape to a tranquil resort with excellent spa amenities where we can let our minds drift and totally relax.  Like not worrying what to cook for dinner, if the plants have been watered, if the sink and kitchen counters are squeaky clean, clothes washed, house free from clutters, blah blah.

Who doesn’t want that?   And if you could do it, wouldn’t you take a leap?  I have always thought of bringing my family to an escapade where we all can enjoy.  Our family being beach bums, a nice resort with breathtaking views, serene surroundings and clean amenities surely fits the bill.  There are lots of promising sites to visit but Villa la Estancia Puerto Vallarta took my breath away.  Take a quick look on their website and you’d surely be amazed of the photos.  I’m dying to get there!

Holiday? Does that even exist for us. LOL. Right now my holidays are taking a long shower.

Maria: yeah, mine too.LOL. I sometimes kid my husband that we moms should be entitled to days off too. so when he lets me rest by not messing up the house, that’s part of my holidays. =)

  • Laura:

I would love to take a vacation. Husband would love to go camping, but no way for me. The only camping I want to do is in a hotel where I don’t have to cook or clean.

For a mini-holiday, try just going to a spa and pamper yourself. That’s what most mothers I know, do.

hope you do get your much deserve vacation or day off Rochelle. I believe all moms deserve vacation from all their dedication and lovework.

My Mom would prefer to sleep if she has her free time. Whenever I ask her to go on a vacation she would just tell me to keep the money and she’ll just rest at home. :)

But when she’s in the mood, she’d pamper herself in a salon. :)

Laura, Bingkee and Betchai: thanks for the comments. I’ve found a nice spa nearby and it doesn’t charge much for a full body massage. my husband and i are planning to try it this month. =)
Pinay Freelancer: your mom reminds me of my mom and my mom-in-law. =)

Hi, it’s Tammy from Mom Knows Everything. I was wondering if you do paid posts. A company I work for asked me to find some blogs like yours and see if they were interested in doing a paid post. It’s about coupons and I’ve done it already. It’s really easy and it pays $10. Please email if you are interested in it. Thanks, Tammy
