Who can stand without communications technology today? For one, it is a basic ingredient to business success. Here in the Philippines, as telecom companies try to outdo each other by offering all types of promotions and other marketing hypes, we, the end users, are the ones winning.

Call and text rates are going nowhere but down. And I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll remain affordable or at least reasonable forever. Landline rates have their own share of promos and perks as well. Placing calls to mobile phones using landlines have become cheaper due to competition. And gone are the days of the snail mail when we can now do business by faxing proposals and quotations using our landline.

That’s always been the case. The more, the merrier.
