The next best thing in the web
The worldwide web has paved the way for a whole new lifestyle. Along with it is socializing via virtual communities.
Ask any of your friends and chances are, they have a Friendster account. Others could be hooked with Multiply, PAW (People-At-Work) Community, Wayne, MyYearBook or Facebook.
It’s amazing how people can now get to mingle with long-lost and new-found friends with just a few clicks on the mouse and the keyboard. In these internet communities, you get to share a lot of information via internet news feeds, blogs, advertisements and personal messages.
It’s the hottest way to keep yourself posted in this rapidly-changing world.
But just when I thought I could sit down and be satisfied with three accounts I currently maintain, I chanced upon one new web community on the rise - Linkedin - by hooking up with Daniel Neumeister.
It’s a virtual community of mostly professionals that is perfect for both business-driven and working people. It is basically for those who are more than just looking around for some good old friends but people who have the zest for personal advancement, business and career opportunities, relevant information that you can choose and filter when you sign up and opportunities to interact with some experts on various fields.
It’s probably the next best thing in the worldwide web!
Though I have already disentangled myself from the rat race, I see Linkedin’s great significance in my pursuit for new learnings. The first time I browsed it, it stirred my interest in looking for ways to explore new possibilities using the internet, widen my contacts, refresh and broaden my management skills and perhaps enhance my earning capacity without leaving home.
With its pool of members in the millions and growing, you are in for an informative and exciting ride.
The possibilities are endless. In this age of modern technology, almost everything comes easy.
Let’s meet up at Linkedin.
